Biodiversity 1
Biodiversity (biology diversity) is usually considered at three different levels: (a) genetic diversity, (b) species diversity, and (c) ecosystem diversity. Genetic diversity refers to the combination of different genes found within a population of single species, and the pattern of genetic variation found within different populations of the same species. Species diversity refers to the variety and abundance of different types of organisms. Ecosystem diversity relates to the variety of habitats, biotic communities and ecological processes and the tremendous diversity within ecosystems.
